I have been working with the Ahavas Chesed Fund since its inception. Anyone who could see the things I've seen and heard the tragic stories of the struggles of so many families in Israel could not remain indifferent to their plight.
Joining the effort to help does not require riches...just a few minutes to make a modest donation. And a lot can be accomplished on the local level by anyone who can donate services, organize a fund raising event of any size, or just help get the word out.
I urge anyone reading this to get involved. It is very rewarding to know that you're doing something to help keep a Jewish family afloat.

The Ahavas Chesed Israel Relief Fund is one of the most important projects I know of.
The number of people here in Israel struggling just to survive...to pay the rent and feed the family...is simply appalling.
